Hand-made in Santa Cruz County. The Contra MC is a long travel high-pivot frame utilizing a dual-link "Virtual High-Pivot" suspension design.
Built to climb all day comfortably and descend like a bat out of hell. The MC has finely-tuned kinematics designed to give you unparalleled grip, control and speed. The frame has size-specific chainstay lengths and wheel sizes to optimize fit.

DETAILS
Frame
Tig-welded 4130 chromoly steel front and rear triangles. The linkages are CNC machined 6061 T-6 aluminum and the idler pulley and pivot hardware are 7075 T-6 aluminum for increased toughness and strength. All pivots utilize Enduro MAX double-row 3802 bearings for durability and ease of service. The frame uses the SRAM Universal Derailleur Hanger for easy sourcing of spare hangers and to help ensure compatibility with future drivetrain products.
Rear Shock
230 x 65mm EXT Storia LOK V3 Coil Shock custom-tuned for rider weight.
Headset
The frame has a 44mm straight headtube that uses a zero-stack upper cup and external lower cup for a tapered steerer fork.
Rear Axle
Boost 148mm x 12mm rear axle for compatibility with most wheel sets.

LIFETIME WARRANTY
Our frames are covered for life against damage due to manufacturing defects for the original purchaser. Paint and finish are covered for 1-year. We will repair or replace, at our discretion, any frame we deem defective. Warranty does not cover damage due to ordinary wear and tear, neglect or intentional destruction.
TERMS OF SALE
Contra Bikes are currently available for delivery to the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.
A 50% deposit secures your place in the build queue for your specific frame. The deposit is fully refundable (minus a $100 processing fee). Total price for a Contra MC frame with EXT Storia V3 rear shock, two Superlight V2 coil springs, Contra specific upper and lower chainguide, and powder coat is $4,500 USD.
When your frame is ready to ship you will receive an email with a payment link for the remaining balance of $2,250 + shipping and any applicable taxes, duties, or customs fees (depending upon your location). Once the balance is paid, your frame will ship within one week.
Current average cost for international shipping, taxes, duties and customs clearance fees (to be paid by the customer) are listed below. No further taxes, duties or fees are due upon delivery. These costs can fluctuate and are simply meant as an estimate for financial planning.
